CALL FOR SESSIONS PROPOSALS

The 5th IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference (CCNC 2008) will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 10th to 12th 2008. CCNC provides a conference centred on communication and networking for consumer applications and services designed for industry leaders and practitioners within the communications engineering design, research, development, sales and marketing principles.
CCNC 2008 will focus on today's growing population of connected individuals and the developing strong market for integrated voice, video and computer communications that can inter-work with entertainment devices, home security/surveillance systems, games, and home appliances, all with transparent functionality to the mobile environment.
Special Sessions will be an important part of the program of IEEE CCNC 2008 conference. IEEE CCNC 2008 invites special session proposals and papers from interested communities. The goal of these special sessions is to complement the regular technical program with emerging topics of interest in consumer communications and networking.

Prospective special sessions organisers are invited to submit a special session proposal (title, goal and plan, organizer information, and potential participants if available) in plain text format to the CCNC 2008 special session co-chairs Dr. Giovanni Pau (gpau@cs.ucla.edu) and Dr. Yi Shang (shangy@missouri.edu) via email by May 20th, 2007.
Selection committee
The workshop proposals will be evaluated by a committee comprising the following members of the CCNC 2008 organizing committee, together with the members of the Conference Steering Committee.
